Dear Sir or Madam/ Dear Professor,

On behalf of Prof. Katsarou, Scientific Manager of the Teaching and Learning Centre, and Dr. Katsampoxaki-Hodgetts, Coordinator of the Teaching and Learning Centre, we kindly invite you to participate in our 1^st International conference on "Developing academics' pedagogical acuity" and submit an abstract for a presentation (oral presentation with or without conference proceedings).

The 1st International Conference will be held in University of Crete, in Rethymnon, Greece, on 15-17 September, 2023 and is hosted by the Teaching and Learning Centre ‘Training of the Trainers at UOC’ (TotT@UOC).

At the CLT CRETE International conference, we hope to exchange good practices on issues that we all deeply care about, that of Higher Educational Pedagogy. Topics are wide ranging including student-centred teaching and learning, inclusive teaching, student agentic engagement, motivation, digital pedagogies in HE, assessment-for-learning, to name but a few. Kindly note our Centre for Teaching and Learning at University of Crete has also secured funding in order to create a website on which Teaching and Learning Centres, Innovation centres and Centres of teaching excellence will be identified on a map and viewers will be redirected to their websites. This initiative aims at creating an international alliance among CTLs around the globe and a breeding ground for more joint projects on Higher Education Pedagogy Interventions and resources.
